wow today was such a fun run. after missing practice cause of the ap psych test, riley teapot thom watson and did the double dip loop. there was some pretty funny conversation. pace was a little faster than recovery cause we were with the guys but it was worth the good time. biked 10min after easy for a cd then abs&hips

speed today. did abs and hips before then mile wu. wo was 4x400, 100m jog, 200 on pace/kick. just kept 400 splits which were 78 79 76 81, last one hit a wall kinda. on the last 100 jog just dropped back from the girls and did the 200 by myself cause i wanted to throw down what i had without worrying about others and such and it was worth it because i really focused on finishing which was good, cause that's been my problem. overall, hit faster than pace on everything and i'm happy with my work, just gotta make sure i'm more mentally ready for the meet than i was for this workout because i definitely wasn't mentally prepped like i normally am, and it made it harder than it should've. cd was tough i was so dead and just wanted to lay in the grass. 10min of biking after

recovery today. felt good until middle endish and my calves were tightening. stretched good with bryn while the other girls went ahead and finished up more relaxed and feeling better which was a win. did abs and hips and ice bath

abs&hips and took a cross train day. 50min biking with 30min endurance ride as part of it. some good convo with kobe and watson. time went pretty fast today. feeling pretty ready for this weekend but also nervous.

hmm. before wu my stomach started hurting and i kinda just felt nasueated through the wu and strides. race wasn't much better. it effected me mentally lots and i kinda just wanted to give up a lot of the time but i slapped myself into gear and started passing. actually was with the front pack til the last 100. idk what my problem was, i was trying so hard but i wouldn't move and was getting passed. i need to figure that out. afterwards just felt like i was gonna throw up super bad but after awhile headed back to the tent and laid down. felt better like 30min later. not happy with my race but i mean not really too bad either. sad my stomach got me bad. again, i feel way too recovered and kinda raged for one of my cool down miles. oh well i'll throw down at region.

premeet. found out i'm seeded towards the very top of the second heat so kinda bummed, but some good things can still happen. mile wu then 400s. first one 79 and felt easy. second one i did first 250 on pace, then last 150 with a kick, to work on form/speed. came in at a 74. cd for 3 then biked 10min. abs and hips and ice bath.

woke up at like midnight ill stricken and got terrible sleep and my throat killed and i had a slight fever plus chills and lightheaded. as the day went on i got a lil better but opted out of the mile still because i felt tired and weak from the medicine and i think i just need some rest before racing tomorrow. plus a sore throat makes it hard to eat or hydrate. so yeah but watched the mile and shoutout to thom for qualifying for state and to mario for a great pr!

welp felt a decent amount better today. well i should say that my head did, my throat and voice are far gone by now. warmed up a mile and legs felt decent. nothing too special about my race, made some decent moves, actually had somewhat of a kick. just bummed cause a) literally so close to 2:26 it's nagging and b) watson got me right at the line by .05 which means she will get the medley if mario qualifies it for finals and decides not to race it in finals. not mad at watson by any means, she earned that. but just mainly at myself cause it was so close. anyways tho, still a pr and a great way to end the season. cd and at first i literally just wanted to stop but as it went on i felt loads better.

well started off the day fantastically with finally achieving my goal of a 10min plank! then got to run for the longest i have this whole season! good ole crew and i went up suncrest and my legs felt quick fantastic, my throat not so much. but overall 11/10 day

wow being sick really makes me feel like a potato. running just felt very tiresome but still got through it. went with guppy and watson on one of our old loops from lhs. hopefully i can actually breathe and function better than a potato by monday.

i'm thinking this sickness might be more than a cold, that or it's just worse than normal cause everyday just feels like i'm being run over by a train. did speed workout which was 2 sets of 3x200. hit between 34-36. cd was ok but also kinda rough. i can't breathe....

lol. had the (not so) brilliant idea of doing a mile on the treadmill today seeing if i could hold it fast for awhile. did .5 wu then got set for 5:20 pace. held on for 1000m then stopped it cause i was dying, well i realized i wasn't satisfied with that for speed today so i took 30sec to breathe then finished 600m at 5:10 pace. overall time elapsed was 5:47ish including the break so not really bad for 1600 but i wish i wouldn't have stopped in the middle. oh well haha just needed to end with some sort of speed before break next week. afterwards did 3.5 with watson and also a 150m buildup which my legs were tired for. well interesting day for sure. finished with abs and hips

man oh man i feel like my legs are just so ready for some racing finally after months long of struggling and injury but wait, the season is over. welp. at least i'm healthy again and not sick either. ran a few with thom and mike and then with mario and collin and then with guppy. all relatively easy and chill. fun watching state, everyone is killin it

lol started break today... kinda. played kill frisbee basketball football for  4-5ish hours and logged more steps than i do on a normal day, but man i'm pretty beat. was a really fun time tho
