first xc practice of the summer today. did half mile warm up then stretching and drills and then we did abs as a team. then headed out and did 4.5 on the rail trail with sami and amelia. today was quite rough and i felt pretty out of breath, so hopefully tomorrow is better. well wish me luck as i have to go take a test today.

half mile warm up then headed out with a pretty big pack. soon enough it was just bill and i lol but we kept a nice, pretty easy pace and i felt sooo much better today. afterwards learned how to do the hip exercises finally lol. also bumping up my ab minutage to 15 min so that's sick.

warm up then finished up mileage up to my house and back. felt really good today. had some strength stuff and then abs and hip exercises. took an ice bath just cause it was so hot outside. finished off with a nap.

ran to practice today so i would have the same mileage as the girls. our warmup was running to the cemetary. did 6x1min pickups at 5k pace. pacing was a little fast but i felt pretty good. ran back and did abs and hips and then ice bathed in the creek. the current was strong so it lasted long. warm up then headed out on a run with crew. shoutout to connor for joining us today. by the end it was bill, connor, and i. fun run and i felt pretty good. abs, hips, and then upper body stuff. took an ice bath after. everyone should hit up the CBC tonight, I've heard it is gonna be sick.

woke up pretty early and ran to watsons house and met up with her to finish mileage. even though it was 6 am it was still pretty hot. felt good to be running more mileage though. also i had more mileage than Thomas today #goals.

wu then did some hills with the team cause they were doing the new dreammaker, but took it easy cause ragnar will be my speed for the week. everyone killed it though. ran back then did a mile and a half just around. abs, hips, and ice bath.

wu then did 3.5 mile loop with all the girls which was chill. then did a turf mile with sami, bill, and kinley. getting pretty pumped for Ragnar. did hips and then guppy and i had our plank off. definitely was hoping for a pr but guppy sat on me after she dropped 😂 lol good times.

wu an actual mile today lol. headed out to finish up mileage and had a nice, lil bit faster pace distance run. we ran on country road (name credit to watson) and it was a grand ol time. shoutout to watson and guppy for us all finally having the same mileage. did abs, hips, some push-ups and pull ups and an extra long ice bath.

mile wu then easy .5 to the start of the tempo run. just paced a group today since i have Ragnar but actually still ended up going 6:35 pace for the 1.5 miles. i felt really good today. did abs hips and ice bath. shoutout to everyone doing the ragnar tomorrow, it's gonna be a party!

1st leg: started about 6:15 pm and it was killer heat. good thing was i wasn't too dehydrated. first mile was 6:57 so a lil bit fast but i felt relaxed. there was a little bit of rolling hills, but mostly flat. not too much shade in the middle of the run and my 3rd mile ended up a 7:59 which i wasn't too happy about so i picked it up. luckily i started feeling really good and there was lots of shade and sprinklers on the second half #blessed. overall had an ap of 7:27 and i was pretty satisfied.13 kills.

2nd leg-started out at 1:24 am and i had so much energy from my one hour of sleep lol. some rolling hills to begin with and i was cruising. even ran with a pg guy for a lil bit, but then he fell back #thepgway. turned a corner and saw a big hill but i took it pretty easy. good thing cause i was dying then and once i finished that, there was an even bigger hill, i think ill call that leg the double dreammaker. lol i just think the hardest part was that  i thought the leg was 3.6 but it ended up being 4. still a sick run cause there was a full moon and such. ap ended up being 8:11. gained about 1000 feet of elevation and lost 300 ft. 33 kills.

3rd leg- literally the best way to finish up my part of the race. i was cruising with 2000 ft of elevation loss in 4 miles. ap was 5:49. lol except my legs feel wrecked but it was so worth it. 7 kills. Ragnar was super sick and i had so much fun with my team!

biked over to Collins then did pretty nice easy bike ride with him and parker. did some abs and hips then went and had breakfast at the hinckleys. came back to Collins and biked home for a total of 55 min. ill take an ice bath tonight and hopefully my legs will start to feel recovered.

biked 20 miles today on the MTC. it was really scenic and i quite enjoyed myself. went and did abs and hips with the team. ice bath was good as per usual.

hey i already am back running so that's a win. did mile warm up then stretches. then did a loop with good ol sami. it was recovery today cause everyone did speed yesterday. just did what i felt which ended up being 8:00 ap. did abs, upper body stuff, and hips and went to SOLW cause it turned on! felt good overall except the back side of my knees were feeling oddly sore. everything should be good for speed tomorrow. shoutout to zack for coming to practice even though asa didn't come lol and also shoutout to mario for going to the temple with me.

today was late start practice and it was extra hot. mile wu then did a half mile up to the start of the tempo run. started off with a good first mile, second mile was a little slower but not too bad, third mile was really hard for me to stay on pace, but i pushed and kept within the range. not my best workout but i just need to work on my finish. overall i was happy though, cause it was already a better tempo than any of mine last year. did a little over a mile cool down. abs, hips, and ice bath.

lols it was recovery today... well kinda. mario, guppy and i got together and went on the MCT and eventually realized we were running on the 5k course for the af canyon races. haha guppy and i ran through the chute cause that was where half out was. even ran backwards on the course on the way back and got some confused looks on the way back. good times. ap 7:39. afterwards guppy and i went to the creek and did abs and hips and then ice bathed.

wu then new dreammaker. we really need to come with a name, something like the thresholder, something legit. anyways this was my first time racing it and i felt really strong going up the hills but i just wanted a stronger kick. got a 10:23 which im pretty happy about for the first time. afterwards we ran over to the skyridge track and did a lap and it was super awesome #sod. but don't worry im not hating on lehi. went back to the creek and did abs, hips, and an ice bath. shoutout to watson and guppy for being back cause i missed them.

wu then stretches. found out my "easy run" pace range is a bit faster than i thought lol. we headed out to the cemetery and did 10 min of grass running then finished up mileage. ap 7:13. felt good to go faster, but we will see how it goes when im doing it on longer runs. came back and did abs hips and lower body stuff. ill be in cali for the rest of the week so im gonna miss everyone.

had to get up early cause our flight leaves at like 9 or 10. it was weird pacing myself on a distance run but it ended up being okay. still not an "easy" run but i think in a couple weeks it will get there. 7:27 ap. abs, hips, and some push ups. i remembered im racing the freedom 5k so coach said to just do a distance run instead of tempo tomorrow.
