mile wu then stretching and strides. felt oddly nervous for such a nbd race. got out with watson and stuck with her. on the first mile and hit a lil slower than goal but actually kinda was good because i was able to push myself well during mile 2 with some good surges. still felt alright going into the last mile until we hit some soggy grass for awhile. kept positive and just thought about my kick i needed to have on the track. watson pushed me at the end, i was hurting, but finished with a pr 19:52 so i was pretty happy. shoutout to watson cause she's the greatest to push me and pretty much a fabulous running buddy. cooled down to finish up mileage then did abs and hips and bought chocolate milk. also had a less wet than usual ice bath so that was a win. hit up lagoon but now my legs feel semi dead so we will see how tomorrow goes.
