got up early for a very pretty scenic run. seriously the sky looked so cool. watson guppy and i did 6 then met up with mario and sami for 3 more. then the french toast comp began. proud to say i finished 6 and watson held strong with 5. we may not have won but definitely gave the effort lol.

mile wu then workout was 10x400s. first 5 at 5k pace, next 3 two mile pace, then last ones at mile pace. felt really good the whole wo until the last 400 i hit a wall it hurt so bad. got on our cd and for some reason right below my calves felt like they were on fire and we had to stop a few times so i could stretch it. finally the last mile they felt fine. did abs and hips.

2 miles, ran by my new house then a mile of speed changes. did 4 more on the mct. felt pretty good and the weather was perfect. came back and did abs&hips and gups rolled me out.

mile wu then got to the line. wasn't too nervous but really prepared. first mile was fast but i felt good. second mile made some good surges. last mile just kinda hurt and i didn't have the kick i wanted but still a solid race and both our teams took 3rd which sets us up good for state. so excited and proud of the girls. did mile cd.

ran in old lehi today which was such a nice change, i miss that place. felt mostly ok, calves still tightened a bit but it was just more of a discomfort than anything. did some abs and yeah.

easy pace run today which we haven't done in awhile. mile wu then the double dip loop. felt better than i thought it was and the run went by way fast. 7:35 ap. after did abs and hips and gups rolled me out which was more painful than i wanted it to be.

ran a 2ish mile wu to airport then we did whistle hills. two sets of 15-20-25 then the last set was 30-35-40. this is honestly one of my favorite workouts. felt like i pushed myself good, especially considering i felt dead after. cooled down back to the school and then some, the hill on the way back hurt a lot lol. did abs, hips, and even some push-ups. also ice bathed with watson and mario. shoutout to mike.

lol quite the recovery run trying to scare/run away from the guys. they tried scaring us at the end of our run which was unexpected. did abs, hips, and push-ups and thom rolled me out. later did some hot yoga with lexi which felt 10x hotter than any of our runs in the summer. im definitely appreciating the cooler weather.

met up with varsity for practice. mile wu then 1.5 miles of speed changes. went by super fast cause each one i just focused on visualizing and what i want to focus on at state. nice easy cool down then some abs and hips and push ups.

1.5 mile wu then race. i raced the hills smart and kept my first and second mile right where i wanted them. i felt so good and focused.  then something bad happened. the last mile was flat and long and mentally i just lost it and didn't go with the girls when i should've and literally that was the game changer. i need to be stronger and race better. i can't keep letting this happen. but im gonna let this make me stronger cause i can't control what happened anymore but i will not be defeated.

met at skyridge with dallin, brynlee, and cuppy, did mile on the road then 1.5 of grass running, towards the end of my run the bottom half of my calf starting really flaring up and it hurt to run so ill probably cross train monday to be safe. did some abs and hips.

started off with the 5 min plank challenge. passed it. then headed on low recovery. a little frustrated cause i feel like i should be recovered, but each day just kinda hurts. had to take it a little slower today but had a good time with bryn. did abs and hips.

had team pictures then we had like 25 min to do miles so we thought 3 lol but had to pull a 7:15 last mile to make it back, which wasn't quite recovery but felt good. we then listened to a guy talk about injury prevention and stuff. finished off 2 miles with watson then abs and hips. also did some basic stuff so yeah.

well basically none of the girls could run today so i went with the guys, so s/o to them. did a loop in alpine which they claimed would be 5 but ended up being over. super pretty tho, although some trespassing... felt really good and had a faster pace then most my runs lately, finally feeling recovered.
