seeing if i could hold it fast for awhile. did .5 wu then got set for 5:20 pace. held on for 1000m then stopped it cause i was dying, well i realized i wasn&#39;t satisfied with that for speed today so i took 30sec to breathe then finished 600m at 5:10 pace. overall time elapsed was 5:47ish including the break so not really bad for 1600 but i wish i wouldn&#39;t have stopped in the middle. oh well haha just needed to end with some sort of speed before break next week. afterwards did 3.5 with watson and also a 150m buildup which my legs were tired for.&nbsp;well interesting day for sure. nagging and b) watson got me right at the line by .05 which means she will get the medley if mario qualifies it for finals and decides not to race it in finals. not mad at watson by any means, she 76 81, last one hit a wall kinda. on the last 100 jog just dropped back from the girls and did the 200 by myself cause i wanted to throw down what i had without worrying about others and such and it was worth it because i really focused on finishing which was good, cause that&#39;s been my problem. overall, hit faster than pace on everything&nbsp;and i&#39;m happy with my work, just gotta make sure i&#39;m more mentally ready for the meet than i was for this workout because i definitely wasn&#39;t mentally prepped like i normally am, and it made it harder than it should&#39;ve. cd was tough jamie said i could do 6 of the 12 reps. hit 5x300s and barely didn&#39;t make the time so did a 200 for my last one. felt good and stay mentally positive. went to the bikes for the other 6 and it was medium hard resistance and you sped up for 60sec then 90sec rest. the rest was hard cause you didn&#39;t want to move and the resistance was so high. pushed my self good and visualed the track and i feel good about the work i did. finished for a total of 50min biking then did a mile cd running and my legs felt very tired which meant some good things happened today.&nbsp;</p> Mon, 24 Apr 2017
